Acid free paper has a neutral pH which gives the paper archival qualities (500+ years). Paper made from a wood based pulp without the lignin (acid) removed will deteriorate and yellow over time. Removal of the naturally occurring acids found in wood pulp using a bicarbonate stablizes the paper. Obey Giant uses acid free paper for printing.
