The OBEY campaign, once a means of getting up while perpetuating a philosophy on the landscape and within minds, has taken little more than a decade to crisscross continents worldwide and adhere onto every surface imaginable.
Artofficial Surfboards in collaboration with Shepard Fairey, continues the OBEY experiment of Phenomenology by wading into a climate that stickers, posters, and stencils must, by necessity, avoid - the ocean.

Shepard Fairey at Island Snow Nov. 18, 2005 Tuesday, November 8th, 2005 Shepard Fairey will be appearing in person at Island Snow Ala Moana, November 18th, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Two Artofficial “OBEY” 6′0″ short boards will be on display for two months at Island Snow. After party to be held at Indigos where Shepard Fairey will be DJing 9:30pm - 2am Get Fresh / Indigos, 1121 Nuuanu St. $10 cover before 11pm, $12 after.
Shepard Fairey Exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Honolulu & MORE! Tuesday, November 8th, 2005 Shepard Fairey is currently on exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Honolulu. A a part of this exhibit, Artofficial will feature one of its premium surfboards, an “OBEY” classic style 9′ 8″ noserider. This surfboard will be on exhibit for the duration of Shepard’s exhibition. Reception will be held on Saturday, November 19th, 2005. Time TBD.
