The one known copy of Obey Van Blue was found in a Lucky Strike bowling alley. It is dated 2007. It was thought that Obey Van Blue may be a photocopy or inkjet print of some kind. Confirmation came from Shepard Fairey:
"That is a sticker image. I never did that color way as a poster. Some fan may have done a digital print and asked me to sign it at an event. it is not legit.-Shepard"
